SkyStone: advantages for your company
SkyStone is a software gateway that connects Skype to your PBX. Allows your co-workers to take full advantage from Skype services without requiring a PC or USB phones or headsets, thus preventing the uneasiness of using two separate telephones.
As a matter of fact, Skystone gives you the advantage of receiving telephone calls from your clients and suppliers via Skype directly onto your fixed telephone, thus adding all the services provided by your telephone system to all your calls to your Skype contacts.

Compatible with any system
SkyStone installs on a PC or a Server on your LAN and directly connects via VOIP (SIP/H323) with any new generation IP PBX system.
If the PBX in use is digital ISDN or an analogue PBX and does not support VOIP services, a media gateway such as OneStream can be used for connecting SkyStone.

With SkyStone you can talk with your Skype contacts for free using your fixed telephone thus easily cutting the telephone bill of your business.
All the telephones connected to your PBX system are immediately enabled to call and receive calls via Skype. A PC on your desktop that runs Skype and that can never be switched off is no longer necessary, nor a personal Skype account. 
Skystone directly connects to your telephone system and provides new communication channels to company and provides a quick dial number phonebook with which you can rapidly call shortcut numbers corresponding to a defined Skype contact, directly from you telephone.
 
 
When your colleagues are on a business trip or temporarily working in a remote office or even from home, you can use SkyStone and call them for free from the telephone of your office and talk via Skype.
Thanks to SkyStone, remote Skype clients are registered as PBX extensions so that anyone wishing to get in touch with them only needs to dial their number from any telephone of the company. SkyStone will then route the call via the Internet to the Skype client of the remote PC, without using any trunk of the company PBX.
Lastly, thanks to the latest mobile services you will be entitled to free calls to your colleagues directly onto their mobile phones if they are using a Smartphone that runs Skype mobile and have a Wi-Fi connection: whenever they are in a hotel or near a Wi-Fi Hot Spot, they will receive calls for free directly on their mobile phone, no matter in part of the world they are.

Any call originated by Skype users surfing the company websites will terminate onto telephones connected to the PBX, thus being able to benefit from support operators and features existing on you landline, such as the auto-attendant and queue management, providing high quality services.
 
 

SkyStone allows you to using Skype as a virtual telephone operator and thanks to Skype-OUT services offering fixed and mobile calls anywhere in the world at very convenient rates, you will be able to dramatically cut you company telephone bill.
This service is automatic as well: the LCR feature (Least Cost Route) of the PBX that connects to SkyStone will route calls via Skype-OUT.

SkyStone does not use the traditional trunk lines of the company as it adds in fact extra lines to your existing telephone system, thus providing a better scalability and adding extra quality telephone services without adding new fixed fees.

Skype-IN is a Skype service that provides o geographic telephone number in a large number of Countries at the cost of a small monthly fee, without installing any fixed line but using Skype as an international virtual operator for receiving calls in your company main office.
With SkyStone and Skype-IN you can offer your international clients a local telephone number where they can call you on for receiving information and support from your company.
This offers you Clients the possibility of contacting you at low costs – the rate is that of a local call instead of international –providing you with a high business visibility.

 
 
 
 
 

If your PBX already belongs to the new generation and includes VOIP services, you can immediately connect SkyStone to it as regular SIP or H323 trunk.

If your PBX belongs instead to the previous generation and does not provide integrated VOIP services but still you wish to take advantages of SkyStone, you can use one of the certified media gateways such as Telcen OneStream, Cisco, Innovaphone, Audiocodes, Vegastream, Digicom and many others.
Skype trunks will be added to your regular ISDN, analogue and VOIP lines and used as extra trunks for your business. The telephone services provided by your PBX will be available for any incoming and outgoing Skype call: customer care or auto-attendant calls, direct dial calls, call hold and transfer to a colleague, conference, Voice Mail, recording, LCR service and, of course, document such calls as well.

With an interconnection between the company telephone system and Skype, SkyStone will further enhance the benefits of a converging solution.

Secure and easy to install and program
 
Technical features
SkyStone is secure as Skype communications are encrypted. It easy to install and configure thanks to its web interface, thus providing easy maintenance, even remotely.

It should be installed onto a performing Windows PC or server in order to obtain efficiency and high voice quality. The Internet connection should also guarantee the necessary band rate for simultaneous conversations (each call uses up about 20 Kbps).
SkyStone installation is recommended onto the DMZ area in order to prevent Skype direct traffic inside the LAN of your company.
Skype clients are not necessary on company PCs.

Imagicle support is also granted during the 30 day evaluation period for every application and includes all ImagicleCare Basic services.
 
Warrant and support on hardware products
All Imagicle hardware products are covered by a 12 month warranty.
Hardware products include technical support service provided by the ImagicleCare Basic plan.  In case of fault during the warranty period, immediately contact the technical support department. After the fault is determined, the device return can be authorised for repair or replacement that will be carried out free of charge except for shipping costs that will be charged to the client. Should a found fault not be covered by warranty, we shall notify the repair costs to the client, before repairing the device.  This same procedures applies in case of expired warranty.
ImagicleCare Gold plan subscription does not modify above described warranty and support conditions covering hardware products.
