Virtualization requirements

  • Our applications are ready to run on any virtualization environment as VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, ...
  • If you install Imagicle applications on a Virtual Machine, you must allocate the amount of RAM, CPU power and disk space stated in the server table. The virtual hardware resources must be reserved, that is, they must not be shared with other virtual machines.
Data storage requirements
TheImgicle SQL Server suite installation includes Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 Express database, offering top security, improved performances and a DB size of 10GB.
The update of existing installations, automatically upgrades to the latest version, in a transparent operation for the system administrator.
 
The applications store configuration and data in the SQL 2008 R2 Express database, with the following storage considerations:

Accounting and Billing – requires 2.5 GB per million calls to keep online for reporting
 Imagicle

IP Fax Server –
requires 1 GB per million of faxes sent/received to keep online for retrieval.
The fax attachment is stored on the file system (not in the DB) and requires an average of 100 KB each one (100 GB of disk space per million of faxes)

Directories –
2 KB per each contact in the directories (400 MB per 200.000 contacts)

ACD – requires 1,5 GB per million of calls treated and agent detail records

Users and other apps require a very small amount of space in the DB, negligible for the DB and Hard Drive storage calculation.

If you need more than 10GB online data (Large business scenario), a Microsoft® SQL Server commercial license must be used (not included with the product).
For the Microsoft SQL license considerations, you will need as many CALs as the number of users accessing to the imagicle applications or the core/processor license that includes unlimited CALs. The applications can be installed on the same server running Microsoft SQL Server or on a different machine (a dedicated machine is not required).

Warrant and support on hardware products
All Imagicle hardware products are covered by a 12 month warranty.
Hardware products include technical support service provided by the ImagicleCare Basic plan.  In case of fault during the warranty period, immediately contact the technical support department. After the fault is determined, the device return can be authorised for repair or replacement that will be carried out free of charge except for shipping costs that will be charged to the client. Should a found fault not be covered by warranty, we shall notify the repair costs to the client, before repairing the device.  This same procedures applies in case of expired warranty.
ImagicleCare Gold plan subscription does not modify above described warranty and support conditions covering hardware products.
